Aidar Ganievich Galimov (Tatar: Aidar Gani uly Galimov; Bashkir: Aizar Gani uly Galimov; born February 23, 1967, in the Madaniyat state farm of the Tselinograd region of the Kazakh SSR, where his parents went to develop virgin lands. Later, the family returned to his native Miyakinsky district of the Bashkir ASSR, to the village of Bolshie Karkaly, where the singer spent his childhood and youth. He is a Russian singer. Honored Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan (1995) and the Republic of Tatarstan (1996), People's Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan (2011) and the Republic of Tatarstan (2008). He began his creative activity in 1989, becoming the winner of a radio competition dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Bashkir ASSR. In 1990-1993, he was a vocalist of the VIA "Azamat" at the DK "Avangard", the head of which was Askhat Nasyrov. In VIA "Azamat", Aidar tocó con músicos tan famosos como Marat Islamov, Rinat Bayramgalin, Slava Kurbanovsky, Mark (Steve) Gordon, Valery Kuryatnikov y otros.
